FAQs

Why should I use a Public Insurance Adjuster?

The real question is, why wouldn’t you? Would you hire an attorney to represent you in court? When you file an insurance claim, the insurance company is going to have an insurance adjuster representing them and looking out for their best interest; shouldn’t you have someone looking out for your best interest?

The fact is that the insurance claims process is set up to be extremely confusing. If filing a claim were easy, then the insurance company would have to pay out far more on claims then they actually do. Without knowing the rules and procedures that are involved with filing an insurance claim, the chances of you getting paid properly are very low.

Studies have shown time and again that when insurance claims are represented by a Public Insurance Adjuster, the payouts are far higher than on claims that are not represented: http://www.oppaga.state.fl.us/monitordocs/reports/pdf/1006rpt.pdf

When should I call a Public Insurance Adjuster?

Immediately after any damage is noticed. Chances are that if you have a roof or plumbing leak, there is far more extensive damage than is visible. The earlier we are notified, the better chance we have of successfully navigating a favorable settlement for your claim.

How much do your services cost?

There are no up-front or out of pocket costs for our services. We only get paid if you get paid. Our services are paid on a contingency basis, and we only receive compensation as a percentage of the settlement after any prior payments or deductible.

If  I hire a Public Adjuster, and they take a percentage, won't I be short of money to make the necessary repairs?

No. This is probably one of the biggest misunderstandings when it comes to the decision to hire a Public Insurance Adjuster. Insurance claims that are filed using a Public Adjuster result in a significant higher payout than claims that are not represented.

Please take a look at pages 7 & 8 of this study done by the Office of Program Policy Analysis & Government Accountability and you will see that insurance claims where a Public Adjuster was employed resulted in much higher payouts that claims without (sometimes as much as 700% higher): http://www.oppaga.state.fl.us/monitordocs/reports/pdf/1006rpt.pdf

Will my Insurance Company drop me or raise my rates if I use a Public Insurance Adjuster?

Again no. According to the law, you have the right to have a Public Insurance Adjuster represent you on your behalf.
